"Rīgas satiksme" launches official investigation into purchase of detergents
In response to the information on the purchase of nanotechnology detergents for washing and processing of public transport vehicles, which was broadcast on TV, "Rīgas satiksme" has opened an official investigation. For the time being, "Rīgas satiksme" cannot confirm that it has not received the nanotechnology detergents, for which a contract had been signed, or that there were any other illegal actions related to the fulfilment of the contract.
"Rīgas satiksme" confirms that as a result of a procurement procedure a contract was signed with "MJ Partneri" on the purchase ofnanotechnology detergents for washing and processing of public transport vehicles for a total amount of LVL 280 000. At present "Rīgas satiksme" cannot confirm that it was a sham contract, as reported on TV, or that the company became a victim of fraudsters, yet "Rīgas satiksme" will perform a detailed and scrupulous official investigation of the case, the results of which will be reported later.
